Hi-Shear Inst. & Removal l Gages l Grip Gauge Slide

The “Grip Gauge Slide” is designed for use with Hi-Shear’s 2-612 Grip Scale. Simply slide on and start measuring!

The procedure for accurate measurement of both countersunk and straight holes is as follows: Hook the Grip Scale on back side of hole. Push the Grip Gauge Slide to contact structure on both sides of the hole. Read the number even with the structure. If the structure is between increments, use the next higher increment.

Fasteners

To measure fastener grip length, place fastener against grip scalse as shown. Read highest number opposite last point of full shank diameter.
